It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything decent on here so I thought I’d give an update on all my happening, which have mostly revolved around the AlphaSphere (no pun intended).
Its been a VERY busy couple of months for me and the rest of nu desine. Back in August I posted a video of AlphaSphere playing at it’s first festival, Boomtown. It wasn’t long afterwards that a couple of other fan-made videos appeared on YouTube. Check one of them out below…
A couple of weeks after Boomtown Adam (CEO of nu desine) spontaneously jetted out to LA to meet a well respected and renowned electronic musician who expressed interested in the AlphaSphere. The trip was very positive and potentially a lot of great stuff will come out of it, which I’m sure will be made public in the coming months. On his travels this fan-made video was made…
Then a couple of weeks after that, AlphaSphere performed at the TEDxBristol event, where Imogen Heap also performed. This went down really well with many fan-made photos and videos appearing online shortly afterwards, and also another appearance on BBC Points West. Below is clip of the Points West feature as well as a fan-filmed video from the event.
The day after TEDxBristol AlphaSphere headed to London for the Ogilvy Lab Day Live event; a music technology networking event, which featured the likes of Spotify, LastFM, and the infamous ReacTable. More positive feedback and networking came from this. And then the day after that AlphaSphere headed to a skate festival in Manchester and once again went down a storm, as can be seen from this fan-filmed video…
In-between all of that we also had time to shoot our first professional promotional video. We’ve seen the rough draft and it’s looking very tasty, so expect that up very soon! We’re still all hard at work trying to change the future of electronic music, so keep checking the AlphaSphere and nu desine websites for news and updates!
