AlphaLive has now been featured on the front page of the JUCE website. JUCE is the programming library behind AlphaLive and it’s fair to say that the AlphaSphere and its software would not be the same without this great library.
AlphaSphere in MPVHub Audio Magazine, January 2013.
A great video shot by UK Trade & Investment South West about the internationalisation and global journey of nu desine and the AlphaSphere.
Our return to Frankfurt for the largest tradeshow for the world of music was a step forwards for us… seeing our stand size increase almost five times. The nu desine stand was also helped along the way by our friends at Adam Audio and Chauvet lighting who provided us with gear which helped us demo the AlphaSphere to it’s maximum potential.
This show saw us reconnect with some of the friends we started to make this time last year, as well as many others we have been getting to know in the MI and Pro-Audio industries. Essentially it provided introductions to a whole series of new contacts, who could end up shaping the forward steps of our company for the next several years.
Though some of the intensity of the previous year was relieved by a larger group of us making the trip to Frankfurt, again we were flooded by a stream of visitors. The period we are now entering is incredibly exciting, however there is a level where the reality of creating a new musical instrument has become something of a normality. Meeting the luminaries of the industry is becoming a regular occurrence and the enthusiasm for collaboration we have been met with from more established companies is massively encouraging.
When it comes down to it, the most important element of these shows for us is about making new relationships with international distributors. This year has absolutely allowed that to happen, and we are looking forwards to be announcing the next series of the AlphaSphere – and where & when it will be launching, in the very near future.
Today was a pinnacle moment in my career. Today we shipped the first order of AlphaSphere’s, a product I have been co designing and developing for the past 2 years of my life. And now people all across the world, from Knighton to Tokyo to Chicago, will get their hands on it, and I’m excited to see what they do with it! To the next step…
We are extremely close to shipping out our first ever batch of AlphaSphere’s now. Final touches are being put into place, with a shipping date sometime in the next week.
AlphaSphere at The NAMM Show 2013, Anaheim, California.
Last week myself and a couple of colleagues attended the largest American musical instrument trade show for the first time to exhibit the AlphaSphere, and it went incredibly well.
We met many interesting people, including some who are very renowned and high-up in the MI and pro audio industry, as well as receiving extremely positive feedback.
Personal highlights included… being part of the NAMM Media Preview Day - a special pre-show event where only 20 of the 1700+ exhibitors are chosen to preview their products to a number of different media outlets; appearing on KTLA 5 - the main Los Angeles news channel; and being invited to a private demonstration of the upcoming MIDI HD protocol by the CEO of the MIDI Manufacturing Association.
Many blogs, videos, and images of our appearance at the show are starting to pop up in various places online, and I’m sure I’ll be posting my favourites here soon. Plus I’d be very surprised if we don’t have some fairly big news to announce soon as a result of the show, so watch this space…
AlphaSphere will be at The NAMM Show 2013, January 24th-27th, Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California.
